The Sudirman Cup
The Sudirman Cup is badminton's mixed-team world championship, contested every two years between national teams. BK8 was named official betting partner for the 2025 edition, the TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup Finals, held in Xiamen, China from 27 April to 4 May 2025. The 2025 edition drew 16 national teams split into four groups, with the group stage leading into a knockout bracket of quarter-finals, a semi-final and a final; each tie is decided over five matches across the men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles, and the first team to three match wins takes the tie. China won the 2025 title, beating South Korea in the final without dropping a single tie across the event. The BWF World Championships
The BWF World Championships is badminton's individual world championship, held annually. BK8's sponsorship covered the 2025 edition, the TotalEnergies BWF World Championships, staged in Paris, France from 25 to 31 August 2025 at the Adidas Arena, again with broadcast branding as part of the deal. The 2025 edition brought together 383 competitors from 53 nations across five disciplines: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles, run over seven days from qualifying rounds through to the finals. In its own announcement, the BWF said the same partnership also covers the BWF World Championships 2026, alongside the BWF Thomas and Uber Cup Finals 2026, extending BK8's visibility across two further events in the second year of the deal.
The World Tour Finals
BK8 also says it is the Official Partner of the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals, an end-of-season event for the year's top-ranked players, most recently the 2025 edition held in Hangzhou, China from 10 to 14 December. That detail was announced by BK8 through a Newsfile Corp release on 23 April 2025; the BWF's own announcement of the deal names the Sudirman Cup, the World Championships and the 2026 Thomas and Uber Cup Finals rather than the World Tour Finals specifically, so this page states that sponsorship as announced by BK8 rather than as independently confirmed by the BWF.
A second BWF agreement followed in 2026, this time with BK8 News, the BK8 sports news brand. On 22 April 2026 the BWF named BK8 News Presenting Partner of the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals 2026 at Forum Horsens, a media role covering integrated coverage and content around the event rather than a betting one, and it ran alongside the betting partnership already in place for the same Finals.
