BK8.io is the crypto casino from BK8, and the BK8 name has spent the 2026 MotoGP season on the fairings of Gresini Racing's two Ducatis. With the Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi run on 2 to 4 October, seven rounds remain, starting at Mandalika this coming weekend and finishing at Valencia on 29 November. This is the second of the two seasons covered by the BK8 News title sponsorship as it was announced, and the team has already confirmed a new rider pairing for 2027, so the run-in doubles as the closing stretch for the line-up that first carried the BK8 News name.
The seven rounds left
The official 2026 calendar lists 22 rounds, and the Motegi weekend was the sixteenth. The remaining six after it are the Grand Prix of Indonesia at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit on 9 to 11 October, the Grand Prix of Australia at Phillip Island on 23 to 25 October, the Grand Prix of Malaysia at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit from 30 October to 1 November, the Grand Prix of Qatar at Lusail on 6 to 8 November, the Grand Prix of Portugal at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve on 20 to 22 November, and the season finale, the Grand Prix of Valencia at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, on 27 to 29 November.
Sepang is the round with the most history for this particular partnership. The team presented its 2026 livery and line-up in Kuala Lumpur on 31 January 2026, ahead of the pre-season test at the circuit, and MotoGP.com's report of the launch described the colours as the team's signature light blue in a richer finish, with the chrome detailing of the earlier design removed. It is also the circuit where the BK8 News name made its Formula One debut on 4 October, on the Aston Martin Aramco car, a separate deal covered in the report on BK8 News becoming a Global Partner of Aston Martin Aramco.
Where the sponsorship stands
BK8 News became title sponsor of Gresini Racing's MotoGP team in an announcement made in February 2025, and the team has raced as BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP since the opening round of that season. The deal was announced to cover the 2025 and 2026 seasons, and the branding sits on the bikes, the riders' suits, the team uniforms and the garage. The story of how the BK8 Gresini Racing partnership came about traces the announcement and the first weekend under the new name, and the BK8 MotoGP sponsorship page keeps the dates and sources in one place.
On 2 July 2026 the team confirmed in a statement on its own site that its current pairing will leave at the end of this season and that a new pairing has been signed for 2027. That announcement was made under the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP name, and the team wrote that "the essence of the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP Team will remain the same" next year. What it did not do is state a sponsorship term for BK8 beyond the two seasons originally announced, and no other source this site treats as reliable has done so either. This page therefore makes no claim about the team name or the livery in 2027; if the team or BK8 announces an extension, it will be reported here with its date.
What to watch
Three things are worth following between now and Valencia. The first is the team's own coverage of itself. BK8 News, the sports news site that lends its name to the team, publishes its own MotoGP reporting at bk8.news, and its Motegi coverage was on the site within a day of the race, so each of the remaining rounds will be reported by the sponsor as well as by the championship. The second is Valencia, which will be the last race for the pairing that has carried the BK8 News name through both seasons, and the last round of the sponsorship term as announced. The third is any word on 2027. The team's 2 July statement settled the riders but said nothing about the title sponsor. If an announcement comes, the period between the season's end and the team's 2027 presentation is the obvious window, though the original BK8 News deal shows how late these can land: it was announced in February 2025, days before the season-opening Thai Grand Prix.
Whatever is decided, the sponsorship's place on this site's list of current BK8 partnerships, set out on the BK8 sponsorships page, runs to the end of the 2026 season and no further unless a dated announcement extends it.
