BK8.io is the crypto casino from BK8, and on 1 October 2026 the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team announced BK8 News, the BK8 sports news brand, as a Global Partner. The BK8 News name now sits on the rear wing end plate of the team's AMR26, with an onboard presence as well, and the team says the two organisations will work together through the 2027 season and beyond. It is the first Formula One deal in the sponsorship record this site keeps for BK8, and the branding was on the car within days of the announcement.
What was announced
The announcement was published on the team's own website on 1 October 2026, the day before the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend of 2 to 4 October began. It describes BK8 News as "a global sports news and entertainment platform" and gives it the Global Partner title. The branding runs on the rear wing end plate of the AMR26, the car the team is racing in 2026, and BK8 News also has an onboard presence, which in Formula One normally means a name visible in the onboard camera shot. To mark the first weekend, the team added further BK8 News branding to the car's fin for that race alone.
The team's managing director for commercial and marketing said the team was "delighted to welcome BK8 News to our team and our sport", adding that Formula One "has an extraordinary ability to connect brands with passionate audiences around the world". The managing director of BK8 News called the deal "another important step in the continued growth of BK8 News and our ambition to connect with sports fans around the world", and said the two sides would work on "creating engaging experiences for fans, providing new perspectives and access, and telling the stories behind the team in a fresh and entertaining way".
The first race weekend
The race that opened the partnership carried an unusual name. The 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix was staged at the Sepang International Circuit, after Formula 1 and the FIA confirmed on 26 July 2026 that the event would move from its original April date to 2 to 4 October and keep the Bahrain title. The championship said the arrangement preserved "a Grand Prix that would otherwise not have happened", and it was the first Formula One race at Sepang since 2017. According to Wikipedia, the race was round 16 of 23 in the 2026 season and was run on 4 October. The debut therefore came at a circuit MotoGP fans already associate with the brand: Sepang hosts the pre-season test that followed the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP team's 2026 presentation, as set out on the BK8 MotoGP sponsorship page.
What the partnership covers
The team's statement sets out three things. First, the placement: the rear wing end plate and the onboard presence, from the Sepang weekend onwards. Second, the scope: "a range of marketing and audience engagement initiatives" intended to give fans "greater access to the team and bring them closer to the action". Third, the term: the statement refers to those initiatives running "throughout the 2027 Formula One season and beyond", which means the agreement covers at least the remainder of 2026 and the whole of 2027. No fee or end date was published, and this page does not add one.
The deal follows a pattern BK8 has used since early 2025, which is to put the BK8 News name, rather than the casino or sportsbook name, on sporting properties with a broadcast audience. BK8 News became title sponsor of Gresini Racing's MotoGP team in February 2025, a deal traced in the story of the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP partnership, and in April 2026 the BWF named it Presenting Partner of the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals. The Aston Martin Aramco agreement is the first of those deals in Formula One.
Since the announcement
When this report was first published on 5 October, the team's own statement was the only account of the deal. Three more have appeared since. A press release carried by European Gaming on 6 October restated the placements and added that the extra fin branding was for the Sepang race weekend only. SportsMint Media followed on 7 October and Sportscape Magazine on 8 October, both repeating the Global Partner title, the rear wing end plate and onboard placements, and the term "throughout the 2027 Formula One season and beyond". SportsMint Media also reported that the financial terms have not been disclosed. The team now lists BK8 News on its own partner page under the heading "Global Partner", in a partner line-up headed by Aramco as Title Partner.
The first weekend went well on track. According to the official race result, the two AMR26s finished eighth and twelfth at Sepang on 4 October, which GPFans described as the team's best result of the season. The second race with the branding, the Singapore Grand Prix on 11 October, was harder: The Race recorded one car in sixteenth place, a lap down, and the other as a retirement. The next round is on 23 to 25 October.
What it means
For this site's purposes the partnership is current. It rests on a dated announcement from the team itself, its term runs at least to the end of 2027, and the branding has already appeared on the car. It therefore joins the Gresini Racing title sponsorship and the BWF betting partnership on the current list on the BK8 sponsorships page, which separates the deals still in force from the football partnerships that have ended. Nothing in the announcement refers to betting markets, and BK8.io's sportsbook does not list motorsport among its sports, so the partnership is about the BK8 News brand's visibility rather than a route into a betting product.
