BK8 Is Listed Among the BWF Official Partners Ahead of the World Tour Finals

BK8.io is the crypto casino from BK8, and the BK8 name appears among the BWF Official Partners on the official website of the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals, the season-ending badminton event due in Hangzhou from 9 to 13 December 2026. The listing was checked on 5 October 2026. It is the only public sign so far that BK8 will be attached to the 2026 edition, and because it is a logo on a partner strip rather than a dated announcement, this page sets out exactly what it does and does not confirm.

What the website shows

The World Tour Finals website carries a partners section at the foot of every page. HSBC appears as title sponsor. A row headed "BWF Official Partners" lists Victor, Etihad, LayM, Ganten, BK8 and Szeastroc, and separate rows list the host partners and the government partners in Hangzhou. The name shown is BK8, not BK8 News, which is a distinction worth keeping: in MotoGP and at the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals the sponsor name is the news brand, while the BWF's betting partnership has always been signed in the BK8 name. The site does not say what the BK8 partnership covers, when it was agreed or how long it runs, and no announcement about BK8 and the 2026 Finals has been published by the BWF or by BK8 at the time of writing.

The event

The World Tour Finals close the BWF World Tour each December. According to Wikipedia, the top eight players or pairs in the World Tour standings in each of the five disciplines, with a maximum of two from the same member association, play a group stage followed by knockout rounds. The BWF calendar published by Olympics.com on 1 January 2026 gives the 2026 dates as 9 to 13 December in Hangzhou, and the city has hosted the event since 2023 under a four-year agreement the BWF confirmed in August 2023, reported at the time by the Olympic Council of Asia. The 2026 edition is therefore the last of that four-year run, and the final BWF event of a year in which the BK8 name has been present at the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals and the World Championships.

BK8's record with the BWF

The BK8 badminton partnership has two documented layers. The first is the betting partnership. On 21 April 2025 the BWF announced BK8 as its official betting partner for the BWF Major Championships through 2026, naming the 2025 Sudirman Cup Finals, the 2025 World Championships, the 2026 Thomas and Uber Cup Finals and the 2026 World Championships. The World Tour Finals belong to the World Tour rather than the Major Championships and were not on that list. The second layer comes from BK8 itself: its release of 23 April 2025 said BK8 was also the Official Partner of the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2025 in Hangzhou and had sponsored the 2024 edition. That claim was never confirmed in a BWF announcement, so the BK8 sponsorships page records it as a BK8 statement rather than a confirmed fact, and lists the 2025 Finals as a completed partnership now that the event has been played. The BWF sponsorship page sets out every event and date in full.

Separately, in April 2026 the BWF named BK8 News Presenting Partner of the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals in Horsens, a media role that ran alongside the betting partnership for that event and ended with it, as covered in the report on BK8 News becoming Presenting Partner of the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals. That record makes a BK8 logo on the World Tour Finals website consistent with the pattern, even though it does not amount to an announcement.

What it means

This site calls a sponsorship current only when a dated public announcement from the past year confirms the deal and its term, and that term has not ended. The World Tour Finals listing does not meet that test on its own. What it supports is a narrower statement: as of 5 October 2026, the official event website lists BK8 among the BWF Official Partners for the 2026 Finals. If the BWF or BK8 publishes an announcement before December, it will be reported here with its date and added to the sponsorships page; if the Finals are played with the BK8 name among the partners and no announcement appears, the event will be recorded in the same way as the 2025 edition, as a partnership BK8 has described but the BWF has not separately announced. Badminton is not among the sports listed on the BK8.io sportsbook, so the partnership, whatever its final shape, is about the visibility of the BK8 name at a broadcast event rather than a betting market on the matches.
