BK8.io is the crypto casino from BK8, and two further deals in BK8's football portfolio were announced with Crystal Palace and Huddersfield Town. Crystal Palace named BK8 its "Official Asian Betting Sponsor" on 8 August 2022, for the 2022/23 Premier League season, and Huddersfield Town first signed with BK8 as a global betting partner in December 2021, renewing that deal in August 2022 for the 2022/23 Championship season. The two deals sit alongside BK8's other Premier League and Championship club partnerships and were each reported by more than one independent outlet at the time.
Background
Crystal Palace's deal was reported on 8 August 2022 by SportsMint Media and SportsKhabri, both naming BK8 the club's "Official Asian Betting Sponsor" for the new season and describing the same set of activities. Huddersfield Town's original December 2021 agreement and its August 2022 renewal were both confirmed by GamblingTV, published 8 August 2022, and by casinoreviews.net, dated the following day; both outlets describe the club forming its original sponsorship agreement "in December of last year" before renewing it for the new season. Neither report has since been retracted or corrected.
What the partnership covers
The Crystal Palace deal put BK8 branding on LED advertising boards around the club's ground for home fixtures through the 2022/23 season, together with player activation content aimed at audiences in Asia. It also included support for a programme in south London that helps young people from under-represented backgrounds find work in football and beyond, run alongside the club's community arm. The Huddersfield Town partnership began as a global betting agreement covering the rest of the 2021/22 season, then grew when it was renewed in August 2022: alongside continuing as the club's betting partner for 2022/23, BK8 took on front-of-shirt sponsorship of Huddersfield Town's women's team and support for the Her Game Too campaign, which was created by female football fans to widen participation in the game. Crystal Palace's partnership covered a Premier League season, while Huddersfield Town's ran in the Championship throughout the period both agreements describe.
What it means
Both agreements were reported as time-bound deals rather than open-ended ones: Crystal Palace's for a single season, Huddersfield Town's for the rest of one season before a fresh season-long renewal. Neither club's announcement, nor any later report, describes what followed once those terms ended, so this article makes no claim about either arrangement beyond the season each announcement covers, and neither partnership is described here as a current deal.
Between the two clubs, the pairing shows BK8's football sponsorship reaching beyond a men's first team on its own: Crystal Palace's deal combined matchday advertising with a community employment scheme, while Huddersfield Town's renewal specifically extended BK8's name onto a women's team shirt and a campaign built around widening participation in the sport. The wider football picture, including BK8's other Premier League, Championship and LaLiga partnerships, sits in full on the football sponsorship page, and matches involving both clubs sit alongside other markets on the bk8.io sportsbook.
